Rubber Track Fitment Guide

Before ordering replacement rubber tracks:

Find the track markings

Inspect the inside edge or sidewall of the existing track for a molded size such as:

450 × 86 × 55

450

= track width in millimeters

86

= pitch in millimeters

55

= total number of links or drive lugs

Measure the track width

Measure straight across the complete outside width of the track. Record the measurement in millimeters.

Measure the pitch

Measure from the

center of one inner drive lug to the center of the next

. Do not measure only the empty space between the lugs. Measuring across several pitches and dividing by the number of spaces can improve accuracy on a worn track.

Count the links

Mark one drive lug with chalk, then count every drive lug around the entire track until you return to the marked lug. Do not estimate.

Confirm the guide and roller configuration

Tracks with the same three-number size may have different guide widths, guide heights, or roller configurations. The incorrect guide system can cause poor alignment, de-tracking, sprocket skipping, or premature undercarriage wear.

Provide the machine information

Confirm the machine’s:

Manufacturer

Exact model

Serial number

Current track size

Track guide or roller style

Any letters following the size, such as

C, N, W or K

Notice

Machine model alone does not guarantee rubber-track fitment. Manufacturers may use different undercarriage or track configurations within the same model series. Track size and configuration must be confirmed before ordering.

Track fitment is not guaranteed. Size selection is the buyer’s responsibility.

When markings are missing or illegible, GRIT may request measurements, machine serial information and additional photographs before recommending an available option.
